Dr. N. V. Krishnamurthy is a distinguished Ayurvedic physician, researcher, and educator with decades of experience in the field of Ayurveda and Yoga. A Gold Medalist in both B.A.M.S. and M.D. (Kayachikitsa) from the University of Mysore, he further earned his Ph.D. from SVYASA Deemed University, Bangalore.

Currently serving as the Principal of Maharaja Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences.

His theses on the management of carcinomas (Arbudas) and diabetes mellitus through Ayurveda and Yoga have been widely recognized. He has authored several research papers and delivered expert lectures across national and international forums.

His work extends beyond academia into community service, having organized numerous health camps, blood donation drives, and yoga therapy programs under various health and wellness initiatives.

Aryabhata Award for Excellence in Ayurveda Research by AAPNA, Los Angeles (2012). Rotary Vijay Vocational Award for outstanding contributions to healthcare. Key contributor to the Stop Diabetes Movement, a collaboration with SVYASA University and ICMR, New Delhi.
